This past Saturday was the first Chicago Indie Bazaar, organized by two of my favorite Chicago-based indie crafters, Jason of Lad Named Felix and Shawna of Shawna Smith Handmade. Held at The Abbey Pub from 12-5. Here are some of the vendors I was able to meet:
I got to the fair late in the day, and Bugs ‘n Bones had sold a lot of her stuff. Click through to her Etsy shop for a better taste of her work.
The pinwheel cookies in the upper left are featured in the September issue of EveryDay with Rachel Ray. He’ll soon be opening a store too. Congrats all around!
The bags shown are from Whether Bags’ new fall line and I dig them. Lisa, the designer, has a really cute chevron pattern messenger bag that I can’t get out of my brain.
