The first time I wrote on my indoor gardening project/experiment, I discussed the process of transplanting my plants from my garden to containers. Other than some minor thorn-pricks, that first step went pretty well. My potted plants flourished at first, especially the geranium, which bloomed more fully than it had ever before. Two weeks later, my little rose plant and my geranium were turning brown! Not for lack of watering – I know that much for sure. I also believe that the possibility of over-watering was pretty slim.
Maybe it’s a sunlight issue. As you can see below, I’ve been trying to set my plants in the direct path of the sun during the day, but I just don’t know if it’s helping. Thoughts? Should I be fertilizing? I’ve been good about dead-heading the rose and geraniums. It is important to note that my mums are doing fine. Maybe it’s a seasonal issue… any advice would be much appreciated. For now, you can look at my adorable dog seeking attention when I was trying to get some pictures of my plants taken for this post.
