It’s been awhile since I’ve shared my family’s crafts. Members of my family are/were skilled woodworkers, wine-makers, knitters, and more. I’m always coming across new gems.
Now that the holidays are here, I have a ton of new family crafts to share. Some will be part of my 12 ornaments of Christmas series, starting next week. For today, I have an awesome felt tree skirt made by my paternal Grandma.
Â
This skirt is made with felt cut with pinking shears in a scalloped pattern, bordered in rainbow sequins. The appliques are embroidered with a variety of beads and sequins. (Please pardon the dog hair, by the way! My puppies spent too much time laying next to the tree last year and that stuff is embedded at this point.)
