When I moved to Chicago last month, I started going to as many craft sores as possible, and while I was there, I made a point of asking each shop owner about other stores in the city. One store that kept coming up was Nina.
The first thing that catches your eye, obviously, at Nina is the super-sized swatch of knitting in the window (check out their website for a great photo). Beyond that, this store has a wide selection of yarns, needles, wonderful books, shawl pins and other accessories. I was lucky enough to wander in when the shop owner herself was there. She’s very nice, and I’m looking forward to having enough time to to take a class at Nina.
Before I leave you to drool over her pictures, I encourage you to check out the Nina website. It’s a really fantastic example of how a craft store can do its website right.
