(In my head, I’m humming the melody of the 12 days of Christmas as I write this. Because I am very cool.)
For the twelve ornaments of Christmas so far, I blogged about these things…
First Ornament of Christmas (vintage felt ice skater)
Second Ornament of Christmas (easy DIY poinsettia)
Third Ornament of Christmas (scroll-sawed snowflakes)
Fourth Ornament of Christmas (plastic canvas poinsettia & birdie)
Fifth Ornament of Christmas (bedazzled felt boot)
Sixth Ornament of Christmas (painted puzzle piece candy cane & snowflake)
Seventh Ornament of Christmas (lace & pipe cleaner wreaths)
Eighth Ornament of Christmas (retro felt bird)
(end mental humming.)
My grandma made this horse head ornament that’s been a fixture of my family’s Christmas tree for years. It’s supposed to be hung with a candy cane inside it, like a play stick horse. I’ve got two dogs and a sweet tooth, so this ornament always winds up naked due to one member of the house or another.
