I recently realized how dumb it was to be writing for other blogs and not letting my Hands Occupied readers know about it. Today is an attempt at catching up on the backlog of posts I haven’t shared with you all. Back in the fall, I started writing for The Good Weekly, the blog for the online maker marketplace, Goodsmiths. My first tutorial was for this simple, no sew pin cushion made with a mason jar lid, leftover fabric, and batting. I always keep pin cushions like this around because they’re ridiculously easy to make and they lay flat nicely. You can also add wrist straps, sewing machine straps or magnets to customize them for any needs. Check out my tutorial here.
