Nothing feels me with a more specific feeling of delight than unique summer yarn crafts. It’s the whole crafting-for-crafting’s sake thing, I think – combined with the nostalgic feeling of having the time and creative energy to spend on experimenting with a design of one’s own, you know?
While I’m over here contemplating past summertime creativity, have a look at these fun ideas! ;)

Have you ever made a snood. Victorian women wore them in their hair. I would love to make one, but don’t know how. Help
Heidi
I’ve knit a different style of snood than the Victorians wore, but I remember admiring the style you’re talking about as a kid at a Renaissance fair! :) I found the following patterns on Ravelry – reaching out to one of these patterns’ designers might be a great place to start your journey to making one! https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/search#sort=best&inline=&query=snood
Best,
