I cast on my first ever shawl this week (I know! How’d I knit this long and never do a shawl yet?), and I’m totally loving how relaxing it is. I’m using a simple triangle shape with easy-to-memorize increases down the middle and edges. There’s nothing quite like knitting row after relaxing row on a spring project when it’s nice enough to knit outside or at least by an open window. Have you cast on any spring projects yet?

Just finished 4 little ponchos for all the 1-2 year olds we know !! (in crochet) and now have cast on to make a little 2 year old cardigan in a beautiful yellow…
shawls are super fun and you just stop when you get the size you want or you run out of yarn !!
