It’s so fascinating to assemble my weekly picks every Friday and see what trends intersect – seeing them in collage like this often reveals trends I hadn’t even realized I kept seeing. Garter stitch continues having its moment in the knitting world, with no sign of stopping. Neutral tones with bright, cheery pops of color are really big right now too. This week in particular, household items are showing up on blogs, and now I really want to make myself another yarn-based rug. Picks of the Week is one of my favorite things to blog, but it’s also frustrating! Once again, I have no idea when I’ll have time to make all of these. Thank goodness there’s Pinterest to help me catalog it all!
