The twelve ornaments of Christmas continues with these upcycled puzzle ornaments! My mom’s side of the family has loved doing puzzles for as long as I can remember. Every once in a while, you loose a puzzle piece or two, which can ruin the fun. Thrift stores and rummage sales are great places to find not-quite-complete puzzles if you don’t have any on hand.
First Ornament of Christmas (vintage felt ice skater)
Second Ornament of Christmas (easy DIY poinsettia)
Third Ornament of Christmas (scroll-sawed snowflakes)
Fourth Ornament of Christmas (plastic canvas poinsettia & birdie)
Fifth Ornament of Christmas (bedazzled felt boot)
Supplies
red & white paint
school glue
ribbon
Directions
Paint a handful of puzzle pieces red, and another handful white. Glue some in a candy cane shape, alternating colors. To create the snowflake, glue white pieces to a center red piece in an asterisk shape. Glue a loop of ribbon to the top of each. Let dry, and you’re done. Super easy.
