If you’re looking for some ideas to keep your hands occupied during maybe-too-cold weather, I’ve got some picks from the blogging world this week for your crafty consideration.

Picks of the Week
There’s nothing like uber-cold weather to get me in the mood for hibernating with a few good skeins of yarn I’m dying to experiment with. Polar weather isn’t for everyone, but I’m into it, at least for a month or two.
Picks of The Week
I skipped on my weekly roundup last week for the holidays, which means today’s picks cover more than usual. And as it’s a new year, I think I’m going to expand my picks of the week to include other yarn projects like fancy pom poms, macrame, and weaving. I’m new to funky poms, but I would love learn how to make & design cool poms of my own!
Picks of the Week
It’s almost knitting & crocheting for yourself time, kittens! In honor of that glorious, post-Christmas zen knitting glow, today’s collage features four totally cute winter patterns you should whip up for yourself after your December gift-making marathon. I, for one, am looking forward to some selfish knitting in 2015! 6 days and counting, my friends. 6 days.
Picks of the Week / Happy Sweater Day
As it’s December 12, there’s still nearly two weeks of knit time until Christmas, which means it’s time to speed it up a bit, production-wise, but still definitely time to get some gifts made. Check out my picks below for some inspiration for gifts to knit now and bigger projects to bookmark for January!
Picks of the Week (& giveaway winners!)
Ok, Christmas knitting and crochet season has officially begun! The blogs posted a bunch of adorable, kawaii-riffic patterns for everything from baby reindeer to Christmas lights this week, and it was awesome. Ideas like these make me want to cuddle up with a nice afghan, a few skeins of yarn, and a crochet hook for the winter. So, so cute.
Picks of the Week
This must be a week in which a lot of the knitters and crocheters I follow are busy working on holiday knitting, rather than blogging explicitly festive items. Don’t get me wrong – awesome knit and crochet ideas abounded, but it was a lot of accessories, super adorable knitwear for kids, that sort of thing. But I guess I can’t say anything about the lack of festive projects I’m finding because it took me until yesterday, November freaking 20th, to post my first holiday tutorial of the season. I better get on blogging some ornaments and home décor ideas asap!
Picks of the Week
Winter is coming. Christmas is coming. It’s almost Thanksgiving. And that means a lot of us have very deadline-driven knitting and crocheting to do! I am thoroughly convinced my handmade gift-giving goals are pretty much delusional, but I’m bound and determined to give them a try. Anyone else in this situation about now?
Picks of the Week
It’s weird to be writing a blog post for a Saturday! As I write this sleep-deprived roundup of my favorite yarn projects of the week, I’m so happy and excited in spite of my tiredness. The fall knit along has just a couple posts left, and I feel really good about how everyone’s sweaters are going. I hope the knitters along reading this are enjoying the KAL and will get to make a lot of progress on their Remy Pullovers this weekend. Knitting and crochet are so awesome.
