I’m having such a good time gathering vintage ornaments and designing new ones for this 12 ornaments of Christmas series. Today’s ornaments are some of my all-time family favorites.
First Ornament of Christmas (vintage felt ice skater)
Second Ornament of Christmas (easy DIY poinsettia)
These snowflakes were scroll-sawed by my grandpa and my mom added the white paint and glitter. Every Christmas, my mom hangs over a half dozen of these in the front window. Since that window is in Fargo, ND, these snowflakes look beautiful against the always-snowy backdrop of my parents’ yard at Christmas time. Here are just a few of my grandpa’s creations, but I’m pretty sure other members of my family have even more designs.
