Earlier this week, I shared a free pattern for a knit wall hanging, dubbed Shot Through the Heart for its heart-inspired shape and the vintage arrows used to sturdy its top. A key part of that design is a stitch you don’t see every day, called the veil stitch. Veil stitch is a nice alternative to drop stitch that involves some specific wrapping to accomplish. Projects knit with the veil stitch are open and airy, with some added structure from the unique twists in the way the stitches are worked. Since the veil stitch is hard to wrap your head around without seeing it, I thought a new video tutorial was in order!
